During the course Co-design in my fourth semester, we carried out a project in collaboration with Vallekilde Højskole. The case was: ‘Communication and knowledge-sharing platforms, focusing on the problematic development of digital platforms that users are “forced” to use.’ The project was driven by both quantitative and qualitative analysis, using methods and tools from co-design and participatory design. For instance, the project employed an ethnographic approach, where video shadowing was complemented by netnographic content analysis to understand the specific context of communication and knowledge sharing at Vallekilde.
Multiple workshops were conducted with relevant stakeholders, including teaching staff, administrative staff, and students. Based on the outcomes of these workshops and our own design work, a concept was developed to centralize communication and knowledge sharing at Vallekilde Højskole.
In this project, I was part of developing and facilitating multiple workshops, designing the UI of our final concept, and conducting stakeholder outreach.
